In July 2024, we decided to come out of stealth and launch FLORA. We’re a creative company, so we decided to launch with an art project that showcased our real-time AI technology.
For 2 weeks, visitors to the FLORA landing page would see a live feed from a GoPro I was wearing on my head. They could change the live prompt box to texture my live feed into a real-time AI style of their choice (but only if they signed up for the FLORA waitlist!).
We also threw a launch party to kick-off the 2-week art project.

This project was inspired by previous experiments in both the performance art world (e.g. Marina Abramavic’s Rhythm 0] & in the startup world (e.g. justin.tv), where the founder of Twitch Justin Kan started out by just livestreaming his own life & it eventually evolved into Twitch.
P.S. I actually met Justin Kan & he was supportive of the idea.
